Driving Directions to PenLUG meetings

• From US-101 (northbound, e.g. from San Jose):
  1. Take the Holly St / Redwood Shores Parkway / San Carlos exit, and keep right to get onto Redwood Shores Parkway (eastbound) but get into the left lane immediately.
  2. Make a left at the first light (Shoreway Dr / Airport Blvd). The road curves back toward the freeway.
  3. Continue on Shoreway (frontage road) about 1 mile and turn right at SEM Drive. Park in the parking lot that is on the corner of Shoreway and SEM.
  4. Enter the main lobby. There will be signs for PenLUG and/or people guiding the way. The meeting is in Suite 211 (2nd floor).
  5. If you encounter difficulty getting in, call Bill Ward at 650 279-9904 (cell).

• From US-101 (southbound, e.g. from San Francisco):
  1. Take the Ralston Ave / Marine Parkway / Belmont exit, and turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Marine Parkway.
  2. After crossing the freeway, turn right at the first opportunity (Oracle Parkway / Shoreway Drive). The road curves back toward the freeway, past a Chevron gas station and Hobee's restaurant.
  3. Continue on Shoreway (frontage road) about 1/2 mile and turn left at SEM Drive. Park in the parking lot that is on the corner of Shoreway and SEM.
  4. Enter the main lobby. There will be signs for PenLUG and/or people guiding the way. The meeting is in Suite 211 (2nd floor).
  5. If you encounter difficulty getting in, call Bill Ward at 650 279-9904 (cell).

• From I-280 (either direction):
  • Take highway 92 eastbound. From here you have a choice, depending on how bad traffic is:
    • Continue on highway 92 to US-101, then turn south on 101 and proceed as described above.
    • OR, take the Ralston Ave / Belmont exit off 92, drive through Belmont on Ralston, and then the road turns into Marine Parkway as you cross 101. Continue as described above.

• From the east bay:
  • Take highway 92 (San Mateo Bridge) to San Mateo, then take 101 south and continue as above.

• Carpooling: email carpool@penlug.org to find a carpool buddy. For best results, email us several days before the meeting; also, have a fallback plan for driving, or consult TransitDirections for bus and train options.

• After each meeting we adjourn to IHOP in Belmont for food and social time. See IHOP Driving Directions if you can't make the regular meeting but want to meet us at IHOP (around 9pm).
