Dissatisfied with the current solutions, he decided to take on this challenge during his free time, and cadvium was born. Robert, a strong believer in Open Source, releases most the software for cadvium under GPLv2.

Before Untangle, Robert worked a Mykotronx Inc, and completed his undergraduate studies in computer science in 2002.
