Transit Directions
If you encounter difficulty finding us, call Bill Ward at 650 279-9904 (cell).
- From US-101 (either direction):
- Exit the freeway at Ralston Ave.
- If coming north (e.g. from San Jose), turn left at the end of the offramp.
- If coming south (e.g. from San Francisco), turn right at the end of the offramp.
- You'll go over the freeway and toward downtown Belmont.
- Continue under the railroad tracks, across El Camino Real, and past Sixth Ave (traffic light).
- Turn left just past Sixth Ave into Twin Pines Park.
- Once inside the park, keep to the right and park in the parking lot at the end of the drive.
- We are in the Lodge building. See map at bottom of page.
- From I-280 (either direction):
- Take highway 92 eastbound.
- Take the Ralston Ave / Belmont exit off 92, and drive through Belmont on Ralston.
- After you pass the Notre Dame de Namur University and pass South Road, look for a driveway on your right. This is the entrance to Twin Pines Park.
- Once inside the park, keep to the right and park in the parking lot at the end of the drive.
- We are in the Lodge building. See map at bottom of page.
- From the east bay:
- Take highway 92 (San Mateo Bridge) to San Mateo, then take 101 south and continue as above.
- From Half Moon Bay:
- Take highway 92. After passing the 280 interchange, take the Ralston Ave exit and continue using the I-280 instructions above.
- Carpooling & Transit: email carpool@penlug.org to find a carpool buddy. For best results, email us several days before the meeting; also, have a fallback plan for driving. Consult Twin Pines Transit Directions for bus and train options.
- We do not adjourn to IHOP after our meetings any more. We have the room until 10pm for social / networking time. Feel free to arrive late to the meeting if you want to hang out with us.
